Heat Treatment Unit
There are two types of treatments used to comply with ISPM-15. The treatment method we use is Heat Treatment. Timber packaging can also be fumigated using Methyl bromide, however, we do not do this treatment.
To comply with the ISPM-15 standard all pallets must be in a heat treatment unit for at least 30 continuous minutes at a minimum of 56 degrees celsius, this kills all bugs and insects. After this process the timber packaging is stamped with the IPPC logo and the customer is provided with a certificate to show the heat treatment process has been adhered to.
We provide heat treatment to other pallet companies as well as heat treating our own pallets. Please feel free to contact one of our friendly staff for a quote on heat treating your pallets.
